Layers of Love
From the ‘Hearts and Stars’ collection.
This pretty heart painting is made up of layers upon layers of paint, gold leaf and glitter - each heart a different colour and different size, but all nestled together to make one big heart full of love – so this painting sort of named itself ‘Layers of Love’.
I chose to paint with pretty candy colours combined with my absolute favourite of pink and gold - wait until the light catches that gold leaf, it looks stunning!
The lines of the hearts have a doodle style about them - a little child-like and messy which I absolutely love - after all love isn’t always perfect is it.
My wish for whoever buys this painting is to always be reminded that they are so very loved and even though love may not seem at times ‘perfect’ and maybe a little flawed, I believe that true, honest kind love always wins in the end.
This piece is perfect for a special Valentine’s Day gift for someone you love, but also as a gift for ‘you’.

Varnished for protection.
